What videos can I upload?
MP4, MOV, and WebM containers. Decodability also depends on the video's codec and your browser's WebCodecs support; the tool checks this before export.
What does the speed curve do?
The horizontal axis spans the source video from start to end, and the vertical axis shows playback speed. Add a new point to set where the video should slow down or speed up.
Does the audio stay in sync?
Yes, the audio track gets the same speed curve, so it stays with the video. The Preserve pitch toggle is off by default; turned on, it keeps the audio's pitch up to 8× speed.
What output format is created?
The download is an H.264/AAC MP4. The source resolution, aspect ratio, and frame rate are kept as the starting point, but Morf does not create artificial in-between frames.
Why won't the export start?
Your browser needs to decode the source codec, and encode both H.264 and AAC. If this isn't available, try a current Chrome or Edge, or an H.264 MP4 source.
Is speeding up or slowing down video free and unlimited?
Yes. The editor is ad-free, requires no registration, and has no daily export limit. For long or large videos, processing time and the size you can handle depend on your browser, memory, and device performance.
